Kyle & Jamie's New Years Eve Wedding

Kyle & Jamie decided 2 weeks before their wedding to hire a professional videographer. Luckily we were not booked for New Years. I can't imagine these guys NOT having a video. Their wedding day was amazingly beautiful.

DON'T WANT VIDEO? READ THIS:

Why should you get video? You have pictures. It isn't in your budget. Why pay for something you're only going to watch once a year at most anyhow? Why pay thousands of dollars for something you can do yourself with your cell phone?

Dozens of couples tell me that they don't want video, its too expensive or they just don't see the point. Well, ok, but, think about this...

The day after your wedding everything will be a vague memory or blur due to the overwhelming amount of attention you received. The day will go by quite fast. Several weeks after the wedding you’ll start to wonder what you actually looked like walking down the isle. You’ll start to wonder about all the things that were impossible for you to see. You’ll begin to desire hearing all the laughter and joy of the wedding. Many years after the wedding when close family members become deceased you will long to see them smile, laugh and hug you on your wedding day. You’ll wish you had a video to show your children what your life was like many years ago.

Just imagine going up into your grandparents attic and finding THEIR parents wedding video stuffed away in a box. Can you imagine just for a second what it would be like to view your great-grandparents wedding video from the early 1900s. Watching what things were like 100 years ago. The music, the customs, the fashion. That would be priceless!

It’s the 21st century. “Video” is EVERYWHERE you look. YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, iPods, TV monitors in automobiles, department stores and on large boulevards. You can even play video on your cell phone these days! Professional wedding videography is no longer an added luxury to your wedding. It’s a necessity! You see…wedding videos aren’t just for the bride and groom. Wedding videos are a personal family heirloom that will be enjoyed by you and future generations.

Still don’t want video? Why on earth would you spend tens of thousands of dollars on such a grand celebration with all your family and friends and not have it documented? The Wedding and Events Videographers Association conducted a study in 2008 and found 94% of all brides’ biggest regret was not hiring a professional videography to properly capture the happiest day of their life.

You see, you may not want video NOW, but I can and WILL promise you that in 20 years, you will regret not being able to go back in time, just for a moment, to view something that has been so precious to you for so long…your wedding day.

Don't let your memories...become a distant memory.

Movie Trailer

Bryan & Melissa's wedding was at the Basilica in Buffalo, NY. I can never get tired of shooting a wedding there. It makes for a very dramatic movie trailer!

End of the Year

Wow, can't believe it's the end of the year. We were truly blessed in 2009. Although the economy is pretty bad, brides never skimped on their videography. They seem to understand the importance and power of having their wedding videotaped! This is your history, your own personal family heirloom and it should be documented not only for yourselves but for future generations.

Thank you to all my 2009 brides & grooms. It was a pleasure working with all of you! Looking forward to working with all my 2010 brides!

Happy Holidays!

It POURED on Michelle & Gino's wedding day. But I always say: "If life gives you rain...SING IN IT!"

Kim & Sean's Wedding 10/3/09

Kim & Sean's wedding was awesome yesterday. Beautiful autumn day in western NY! We took photographs and video footage at Glenn Falls. We found this little remote area that NOBODY goes to. It's breathtaking! Stone walls, steams, old buildings, waterfalls and old trees. It's very Victorian.

Kristen Gets Ready For Her Wedding

What a fun video to produce! I started this video with a brief interview of how Kristen & Doug met. Then the fun part of the video begins! We used several editing techniques including color correction and 3D photomontage. We also used several photos that were taken at the wedding and their honeymoon. The final video was about 7 minutes. This is an edited version.
